I ended up adding the wellness plan for my dog, i’m glad I did 🙂 His vaccines, checkups, and flea meds used to add up so quickly, so having some of that covered has been a big help. Filing a claim was simple too, I just uploaded the receipt and moved on. Nothing super fancy, but it does what I need it to do.

I did eventually get paid, so I’ll give them that, but they took longer than they should have. I felt like the delay was on them, and I had to be more patient than I expected just to get my claim handled.

"Super easy app, honestly"
I’ve been using the Figo app mostly for claims and checking my pet’s info, and it’s been really straightforward. It loads fast, everything is easy to find, and I’m not tapping around forever trying to figure out where stuff is. Which is great, because I already spend enough time digging through random apps on my phone when I should probably be doing laundry. Overall, really happy with it

I’ve had a handful of claims with Figo now, like vet visits, meds, follow-ups, and one of those random “of course this happens on a weekend” situations, and the direct deposit piece has been really smooth every time. Once the claim gets approved, the money just shows up in my bank without any weird waiting period, mystery delay, or me checking the mailbox like it’s 2004.

It’s one of those things that isn’t flashy, but it makes a difference. I don’t have to deal with paper checks, lost envelopes, depositing anything through an app, making a bank trip, or wondering if something got held up somewhere. It just works, which is exactly what I want after dealing with vet bills

My premium went up this year, which annoyed me because I don’t have a ton of patience for price changes. But it wasn’t a huge jump, and they explained it clearly enough without making me chase answers. Claims for my dog have been easy so far, so even with the increase, I’m still giving them 5 stars.

I’m a little biased because I really like when companies are upfront about the fine print, and Figo did that well. The waiting periods were easy to find and understand before I signed up, so I didn’t feel like I was guessing or getting hit with hidden details later. That made me feel a lot more comfortable buying the plan.

It covered my dog for the accident and illness stuff, so I’m glad I had it when I needed it. But wow, the claims process definitely took a bit longer than I would've liked. Like, I get that these things take time, but still... waiting around for updates is not exactly fun. Overall, it did what it was supposed to do, just don’t expect everything to move super fast

Overall, it was okay. They did cover a few things for my dog, so I can’t say it was a bad experience. But when it came to his old ear problem, they denied it as pre-existing. I get why, but it still felt a little disappointing. Their process seems fair enough, just very strict.

"Renewal went smoother than I thought"
I just renewed my dog’s Figo policy it was way easier than I expected. The reminder email actually made sense, and I could see what had changed before I agreed to anything, which I appreciated because... you never really know with these things.
I did have a quick question about the price, but support got back to me fast and didn’t turn it into some whole drawn-out process. Had it all sorted in a few minutes, so yeah, painless overall.

"Customer service is painfully slow"
I’ve been trying to get a basic answer from Figo for days now, and it’s been frustrating. The chat keeps sending me in circles (which gets old fast), and emails take way too long before you hear anything useful back.
When someone finally did respond, it felt rushed and didn’t really fix the issue. For pet insurance, I expected support to be a lot quicker (especially when you’re dealing with something important). Definitely not happy with the service so far.
